Original hand-woven wall art, designed with hand-dyed wool yarns and repurposed acrylic yarn remainders, mounted on sticks I collected from under my oak trees. The woven area is approximately 8 inches by 11 inches.
Inspired by all the colors of the mosses, lichen, and sprouts that appear in the spring along the muddy paths and attached to rocks and fallen trees.
I weave on a variety of smaller tapestry looms and I prefer mounting them on an art easel while I work. This one was intuitively woven (not planned) because I wanted a more fluid and natural feel to the end design.
