I do enjoy a good construction project and when you add slow stitching and hand quilting, the process gains a meditative quality you don't get from using the sewing machine.
This design was created using scrap fabrics plus silk and cotton threads, and measures 15 inches square. It was gifted to my daughter for her birthday.
