An original woven wall hanging depicting an ethereal and wild Hekate, a crone goddess of the ancient mediterranean. She was inspired by my studies of goddess lore, ancient textiles, and my own transition into cronehood.
She was created on a tapestry loom using repurposed yarn remainders and hung from a stick that fell from our oak tree. The woven area is approximately 6 inches by 10 inches, inclusive of the tassels.
